Friday the sixt of November it was time again for an Magical Online Flower Show.
This time it was Ruud Hazelaar who was the Flower Magician who was on stage to surprise us with his Christmas arrangements.
For almost 6 months per year Ruud is designing for this important Holiday; from exhibitions to photo shoots. A great designer to have for this Christmas themed show!
Ruud started with a design of tubes with beautiful red Anthuriums and green Cymbidiums. A real eyecatcher.
The next design was with baubles, glued together and covered with candle wax. Next to that the baubles were also used as vases! A great idea to use them in a different way.
Ruud wanted to show as much as possible, so after the piece with the baubles, he showed us a colorful Christmas wreath with small Christmas decorations, decorated as well with colorful flowers, a real showstopper!
After the wreath Ruud turned an old bicycle wheel into a centerpiece. Just using a few different flowers, some metal wire and fabric.
During the 5th and 6th arrangement Ruud started with pyro-technic floristics. Where he made great constructions, and with the help of fire created beautiful shapes and forms.
The last bouquet was a mix of silk flowers and natural flowers. This is a trend Ruud sees in Holland now, and he expects this will continue into Christmas
