Eurovision 2025 has come and gone in a blaze of glitter, key changes, and questionable choreography – but our flower-obsessed hearts are still blooming with inspiration! While everyone else was recovering from their Eurovision party hangovers, we were busy creating floral magic with the talented (and Eurovision-obsessed) Stefan van Berlo at our Eurovision Flower Festival. Trust us, these arrangements hit higher notes than this year's winner!

A Floral Tribute to Belgium's Sandra Kim

First on our floral stage was the only winner from Belgium, Sandra Kim, who captured hearts with her classic anthem "J’aime la vie." Stefan crafted an exquisite table centerpiece inspired by Sandra's vibrant outfit during her performance. This arrangement featured a carefully curated frame adorned with a variety of spring flowers, symbolizing the blossoming of Kim’s career. The flowers were elegantly displayed in tubes, with some showcased as a part of the decorative frame while the others were subtly hidden - adding layers of intrigue to the design.

Turkey's Sertab Erener Takes Center Stage

Next, we shifted our focus to the enchanting Sertab Erener from Turkey. For this eye-catching arrangement, Stefan introduced a creative twist using the OSHUN Pouch. First, he allowed the bags to soak up water, then cleverly opened them to present the floral content in stunning Turkish glasses. By arranging the glasses elegantly on a plate, Stefan showcased a striking visual that not only delighted the eye but also offered flexibility in design size, making it accessible for various budgets.

A Heartfelt Design for Duncan Laurence

Inspired by Duncan Laurence’s poignant lyrics from "Arcade," our next piece embodied the essence of a broken heart. Using De Opstal Sprayroses, Stefan expertly formed a foam heart, encasing it in a delicate wire frame adorned with the vibrant blooms. To symbolize hope amidst heartache, he added two elegant Helleborus flowers, creating a beautiful contrast that resonated with the song’s themes.

Embracing the Wild Spirit with Ruslana's "Wild Dances"

Our festival took a spirited turn with Ruslana’s "Wild Dances" from Ukraine. Here, Stefan unleashed his wild side, designing a bold arrangement featuring a fur base at its core, surrounded by a riot of bright and unique flowers, including charming mini Lilies from Love for Lilies. This design captured the energy of the performance, radiating vibrancy and exuberance.

Lighting Up the Room with Loreen’s “Euphoria”

Next, we celebrated the enchanting Loreen with her song "Euphoria." Stefan's design truly illuminated the space, with light beams radiating throughout. Utilizing luscious Lisianthus from Lugt Lisianthus and ethereal Helleborus, this arrangement mirrored Loreen’s ability to create a magical atmosphere wherever she goes.

A Fiery Finale with Belgium's Red Sebastian

Our final design delighted audiences with an homage to this year's Belgian artist, Red Sebastian. True to his name, this creation featured a grand heart-shaped frame overflowing with fiery red blooms - Peonies, spray roses, Lisianthus, and Helleborus combined to form a stunning and passionate centerpiece, perfect for concluding our Eurovision Flower Festival.

As the designs captivated everyone, we were eager to announce the results of the floral competition. Much to our delight, Belgium emerged victorious - what a sweet surprise!
