Our online Flower Circus show for November was in Finland this time. We had the very energetic and colorful Pirjo Koppi as our designer for the first time ever at Flower Circus.

Live from her own flower shop in Finland, Pirjo Koppi was ready to amaze us with wonderful Christmas arrangements. Pirjo is famous for her colorful and energetic style, and she competed in many different competitions and is also part of Floral Fundamentals.

Design 1: Christmas Magic

White festive Christmas floral arrangement featuring a base of evergreen boughs, golden baubles, snowflakes, and pinecones. The design is topped with a large, textured ring wrapped in fluffy cream-colored material, which is filled with white Baltica Chrysanthemums. The arrangement is photographed outdoors on mossy ground.

Her first design was directly one with a WOW-effect. It was a huge bouquet shaped design with Christmas greens and decorations, and on the top a ring made with beautiful Japanese paper, and later filled with white Baltica Chrysanthemums from Beyond Chrysant.

Design 2: Cotton Candy Christmas

A trio of small, rectangular floral arrangements sitting on a gray stone surface surrounded by fallen autumn leaves. Each arrangement is made in a brick-shaped base wrapped in colorful wool (pink, green and striped green, and magenta) and stands on small, dark door knobs used as feet. They are filled with brightly colored flowers, including pink, white, chartreuse, and deep purple lisianthus, along with green foliage and pine sprigs.

The second design was an easy-to-make design, yet very beautiful. Using a brick of dry floral foam, covering the sides again with Japanese design paper, and the sides with wool, made it already look nice.

Using door knobs as feet for the brick, to lift it up from the table was a great idea as well! Pirjo used glass tubes as vases for the Lisianthus that she used in this beautiful piece. After the piece was finished, she showed two different variations of the design with different colors of wool and different colors of flowers.

A woman with her hair in an updo and a pink bandana wears a vibrant magenta top as she holds and adjusts a striking Christmas floral arrangement. The arrangement, against a textured golden-green background, features bright orange and white lilies at the top, surrounded by green foliage. Below, strings hang down adorned with various colored Christmas baubles and other festive decorations, creating a whimsical and layered effect.

Design 3: Circus Christmas

The next arrangement used a metal ring as a base, arranged with beautiful, colorful lilies from Love for Lilies.

The metal ring was first covered with wire, with some wires hanging down, where she later attached both flowers and Christmas baubles. This way, not only was something happening on the top of the bouquet, but also on the sides.

By putting the design in a tall vase, you could really see the design coming to life.

Design 4: Christmas Tray

A top-down view of a Christmas centerpiece arrangement, featuring a central cluster of dark brown chestnuts and lighter-colored pebbles, surrounding a glass jar holding a lit, yellow pillar candle. The perimeter is adorned with a ring of large, white chrysanthemums, frosted evergreen sprigs, pinecones, cinnamon sticks, and sparkling white Christmas baubles.

The next piece was a tray made out of chestnuts. A customer brought in chestnuts, which Pirjo used to make a bowl, covering it with different types of Christmas greens and topping it off with beautiful white chrysanthemums.

A portrait of a woman wearing a magnificent, elaborate Christmas headpiece or crown. The festive floral design features large pink lilies, dusky pink lisianthus, and fresh green and blue-green foliage. The crown is also adorned with sparkling pink Christmas baubles and delicate twinkling lights.

Design 5: Lush Christmas Crown

After this design, the lights went off because Pirjo prepared something really special: a headpiece made with Christmas greens, lilies, and lights. In the dark days of the Scandinavian winter, you would absolutely steal the show with this headpiece.

It was not only a beautiful headpiece, Pirjo also surprised us with a Finnish Christmas song!

Design 6: Christmas Romance

A beautiful heart-shaped floral design, made entirely of lush white chrysanthemums that taper down to a point. This elegant piece, featuring the fresh white blooms, is an ideal idea for a winter wedding bouquet or festive arrangement.

Still wearing the floral headpiece, Pirjo continued the show by making a wedding bouquet in a heart shape. This heart shape was made out of cardboard, which he reused from a flower box. She used metal wire on the edges of the cardboard to make sure she could bend the hard shape into every shape she wanted. In this way, the heart shape got more playful.

Design 7: Christmas Sparkle

A circular Christmas flower arrangement for the home, standing on a small wooden base via two thin metal rods. The base of the design is a metal ring completely covered with pink wool. The center wreath is densely filled with blush, cream, and pale green Lisianthus flowers, echoing the pink wool color. The festive piece is decorated with sparkling white and silver Christmas baubles.

For the next design, Pirjo again used a metal ring, this time covering it with wool. For the wool, she choose the same color as the flowers, the Lisianthus from Lugt Lisianthus, that she was using. The Lisianthus was on a foam ring, which he later glued onto the metal ring. To give it that little bit extra Christmas feeling she also added Christmas baubles.

Design 8: Holiday Bouquet

A lush, fan-shaped Christmas arrangement displayed in a green glass vase. The design is rich with Christmas greens (fir and cedar boughs), and features vibrant purple, pink, and yellow flowers (Lisianthus). The arrangement is further accented with a green ribbon collar, pinecones, silver foliage, and various shades of green and lavender Christmas baubles.

The last piece was an absolute showstopper: a huge framed bouquet. She made it from scratch, using leather to make cones and attaching them to a metal ring. Folding the ring gives you a really different shape. Together with the different Christmas greens - the blue and brown Lisianthus really made this design pop.

In exactly one hour, Pirjo inspired all the florists watching this Flower Circus online show with eight amazing different designs.
