With Christmas around the corner it was time for Morgan Douglas Nuth to close this years online shows with the Nuth-in’ but Christmas Show. Together with Santa’s little helper Nicola from Beau-K, Morgan made it a fantastic show.
With the show being a day after the announcement of the Pantone color of the year, this was of course a topic during the show: the white Cloud Dancer brings mixed reactions amongst the designers, as you also can see in our video with the https://youtu.be/2Uk1tKgf1y8.
The white is by some perceived as maybe a bit boring, although everyone agrees on the story behind the color.
Morgan made 7 different designs during the show, and every design had a different technique and style.

Design 1: Christmas Treats
The first design was a traditional Christmas table piece, with Cymbidiums from Special Orchids and the bright orange Amata sprayrose from de Opstal. What made this design special were the handmade candle holders made by Morgan. He clearly explained how to make this, and how to make these in any shape you would like. For the holders he used wire from Smither’s Oasis Floral Products UK.

Design 2: Christmas Baubles Deluxe
When moving and/or buying new stuff you always get left with a lot of packing material. The packing material for Morgan's new TV was turned into the base of the second design.
As vases Christmas baubles were used. Morgen even made more holes in them so there was more place to add flowers (and it is also way easier to fill and empty the water from the baubles)

Design 3: Frosted Citrus Delight
That Christmas isn't all about red and gold, Morgan proved during the fourth design, working with white chrysanthemum Baltica from Beyond Chrysant and white spray roses from de Opstal.
As a base for the bouquet, Morgan made a wreath with wire, veneer, and dried fruits from Smither’s Oasis Floral Products UK.
Fun thing was that this frame could also be used as a wreath.

Design 4: Cozy Woven Christmas Tree Arrangement
When you're really skillful with wires, you can make beautiful things. That's what Morgan proved during the fourth design. He made a construction with wire and wool to create a Christmas tree, and in this tree, he put several different kinds of flowers, like Lisianthus and Cymbidium. The Christmas tree base was holding the flowers in the right place, and Morgan added some Christmas baubles to the bowl itself to really give it that Christmassy feel and look.

Design 5: Extravagant Christmas Wreath
What's Christmas without a Christmas wreath? Morgan made this Christmas wreath in an asymmetrical way. This made the wreath a lot more playful, adding a bow of course finished it off.
Here's a tip for Morgan: instead of gluing the flowers and bubbles to the wreath, try using wire. That way, you can reuse the wreath later for other things, like fat balls for the birds after Christmas.

Design 6: Twice the Cheer
This year, we've seen a lot of different frame bouquets from the designers. We haven't seen a square one yet, let alone a double square - two frames on top of each other. It gave a great effect with the limonium in between, and Morgan also explained how to make sure that the two frames kept apart from each other. Using pink and purple flowers really made this design stand out a lot.

Design 7: Starlight Celebration
For the final design of 2025, Morgan went all in, using an old lamp as a base. He employed several techniques to create a beautiful construction, working with wire, bandages, and paint. Morgan clearly explained, step by step, how he made this frame, which was a piece of art in itself. Adding flowers, of course, made it even more beautiful.
And with that design, the online shows for 2025 are over.
It's been a year where Morgan started with the Mocha Mousse theme and ended with the Christmas theme. We've seen so many beautiful designs from great inspiring designers, and we would like to thank everybody who was watching the show.
We wish everybody a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and we'll see you next year for new online inspiration.
